Afghan Tasty

Greetings Fellow Nom Seekers!

The family went for a weekend drive and we ended up in Dandenong, an area we usually don't get the chance to explore.  After parking the car, we realised we were in food heaven and had many choices that were not going to break the bank.  We settled for Afghan Tasty.

As this our first Afghani food experience, we were not sure what to expect.  The place is very basic but clean.  We proceeded to the counter and ordered a Chicken Kebab and Burani Bonjon (cooked eggplant served with yoghurt.  The Chicken Kebab came with Afghan bread and salad.

Both dishes were on the table within minutes.  The meal was very tasty - the salad fresh and the Afghan bread to die for.  Glutt commented that she would have been happy eating the bread alone.  Our fussy Bubbachuck loved the kebabs and the bread.

The two dishes did not look like much but were enough to feed two adults and one very hungry child.
